About
Founded by curators from the Uncanned Music family, the International Anthem label was established to be a productive and distributive outlet for the group’s original music programming.
The mission of International Anthem is to make positive contributions to the changing state of the music industry and to vitalize the demand for boundary-defying music by presenting unique sounds in appealing packages to untapped audiences.
The Request
International Anthem approached us in need of a website facelift. They were hoping to get their website to a solid place and build it as an new foundation online where they could really support the artists on the label and thoughtfully house all of their information & media moving forward.
What We Did
We started by taking a look at their materials and current digital strategies and that of their distributors & partners to see what we could shore up in the short-term, as they had a lot of music releases coming up they wanted to better prepare for. We discussed how an improved online presence and handling of digital assets for their releases & artists could help them utilize certain other services and help their growing staff accomplish more with less- all in support of the music and artists they showcase. We didn’t need to do any re-branding, but we did have to collect and wrangle some of their digital branding materials and make sure we had some consistency by way of colors and fonts and stylistic choices to draw from as we set about developing a new website. Working with their team, we collected an immense amount of release and artist data, and set about developing a site that could organize and present that information in a user-friendly way, and under a website structure & system that would be easy enough and sustainable for their team to manage. In the end the site will have 80+ pages showcasing label information and releases, helpful artist tour & booking info, news items, videos to stream, and music previews with purchase links.
