Project Recap: Kandace Thomas

asset-2-copy.jpg

A personal brand identity and website I put together for Kandace Thomas, MPP, PhD, a Chicago-based change maker and community advocate whose work is rooted in learning, engaging and being. She's a children’s social + emotional well-being program, policy and systems strategist, and has developed extensive expertise in child development, infant and early childhood mental health, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care.

Kandace had wanted to upgrade her personal/professional materials in preparation for a possible job transition and more public-facing position, so I helped put together a simple logo, color palette, stationary set, and designed docs like her résumé & invoice template. Nearing the end of our process she landed a job offer as the Executive Director of First 8 Memphis in Tennessee. Congrats Kandace!! 🧘🏾‍♀️

What Kandace had to say:

“I wanted to work with David because he understood what I was trying to create and elevated my ideas. David took my ideas and dreams and created a website that reflects my interest and spirit. I look forward to working with him in the future!”
