Creative Direction & Strategy
In the beginning stages of every project, I like to put together a creative direction & strategy document, which is basically a summary of your goals, your audience + how we can use design to speak to them.
This will include a blueprint for your website that addresses key goals, ways to engage your audience and structure your content in a way that's intuitive.
Logo, Brand + Collateral Design
Includes primary & secondary logo, sub-mark, color palette, and font system.
Brand Collateral includes items used to promote your brand and connect with your audience. Two designed items are included with the package and choices typically include business cards, stationery, merch items, product packaging, things like that.
A Brand Style Guide is included which outlines how to use your brand consistently and intentionally.
Website Development + Training
We'll build a site that is uniquely yours down to every detail and looks good on any screen size. The site will also be fully editable, so you can update things on your own once we're done.
We will set up everything for you so you don't have to worry about the technical stuff.
Before things go live, we'll walk through the site and review how to manage + edit everything. After you launch, I'll be available for any quick fixes you need or extra questions you have.
Add Ons
If more than 2 collateral items are needed, you can pick which ones and a fee for those items will be added.
Custom background graphics & icons as desired.
Some website features such as an online store require a lot more time, so I’ll charge extra depending on your unique needs.
If your site requires special pages outside of the 5 page allotment, I’ll add on a cost per page, depending how demanding they’ll be to implement.
The process
Working Together
Insight
After you sign your contract + pay your deposit, I’ll send over a welcome packet and questionnaire for you to fill out. In the questionnaire, we’ll be thinking about your goals, your audience, and the things that set your business apart from the rest.
Strategy
We’ll outline your project goals, ways to connect with your audience and visual inspiration to guide us through the design process. Basically, this step helps us make sure we’re on the same page before I start sketching ideas.
Create
I’ll present my 2-3 strongest concepts for the logo, each one highlighting a different aspect of your business. From here, we’ll narrow it down to 1-2 concepts that feel right + would connect the most with your audience.
Refine
At this stage, I’ll present refined versions of the concepts and we’ll dive deeper to explore color and typography. This is where we’ll really try to envision how each concept would work in real life. If we still need to refine, we can. Otherwise, I’ll share final files and put everything in a Brand Style Guide.
Finish
Next, we’ll begin website development and also create the collateral pieces that you’ve chosen to include. If you need collateral items them to be editable, I’ll create them as Google Docs, Word, or Canva templates. And if you need help communicating with printers for printed collateral, I’m happy to help.
Launch
Finally, we’ll solidify your website. I’ll get your feedback, finalize the pages, and complete an SEO checklist to get you ready for going live. We’ll do a video walk-through of the site where I’ll show you how to edit the pages and settings, and will record my tutorial for your later reference.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are You Booking New Clients?
Yes! I’m currently booking out website, branding, and branding + website projects. If interested, please have a look at my services page and send an inquiry through my contact page. I’m excited to hear from you!
How Do Payments Work?
Working with a designer is a big investment, so I offer simple payment plans. First, you'll pay a 40% deposit to reserve your spot in my schedule. From there, we'll schedule the rest into 1 or 2 payments. Payments can be made by bank transfer, debit/credit, or Paypal.
How Soon Can We Start?
My availability varies throughout the year, but I typically book projects 1-3 months in advance. To get an idea of current availability, fill out my client inquiry form. We can talk details over the phone afterwards.
Do you work with web platforms other than Squarespace?
I occasionally do Wordpress for more complex projects but adore Squarespace and think it’s a stylish and user-friendly option for clients to self-manage. I love playing with Squarespace, and I think you will too!
Do You Offer A La Carte Options?
My intention is to provide clients with a cohesive web development and/or brand design service, so I mainly offer all-inclusive project packages. For some minor things I’ll consider work at an hourly rate.
